Tax Compliance Specialist

We have a great opportunity for you working for a multinational, tech company that will make your CV stand out from the crowd.

 

We are looking for a Tax Compliance Specialist with at 2 years of experience in tax compliance and advisory work, proven knowledge of Irish tax law, with ACA/ACCA or equivalent certification, and fluent/advanced knowledge of Mandarin, to join our client on a 12-month fixed term contract, with a possibility to become a permanent employee.

 

If you are an experienced and independent Tax Compliance Specialist, there is a possibility for you to work on hybrid basis (2 days a week remotely).

 

You need to have a right to work in Ireland for at least 12 months to be able to be successful in the process.

  • Salary of 40-50k on annual basis. For the person who is more experienced and matches all the requirements, there is a possibility to negotiate it higher.

What will be doing on a day-to-day basis?

  • Direct and indirect tax compliance in Ireland and other European countries;
  • Maintain an understanding of the company’s business developments, investments, activities and business strategies and identify tax benefit opportunities.
  • Provide tax support and advice to the company’s routine activities, including conducting tax impact analysis for digital services in Ireland and regionally.
  • Provide tax support and advice to the company’s treasury activities.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with relevant business units to ensure timely communications regarding any transactions that may have tax consequences and tax planning opportunities.
  • Maintain relationships with external advisors to ensure a clear understanding of our client’s business operations and timely support on key projects.

 

What do you need?

  • 2 years of experience in tax compliance and advisory work (ideally from one of the big four).
  • Proven knowledge and experience of Irish tax law (ideally other EU countries as well).
  • Professionally qualified ACA/ACCA or equivalent, with CTA/ADIT or equivalent preferred.
  • Fluent/advanced Mandarin language.
