Our client is an American worldwide management consulting firm who is a trusted advisor and counselor to many of the world’s most influential businesses and institutions.
They are looking for a SharePoint Online Architect with extensive SharePoint Solutions Delivery experience, to join them on a temporary 8-month contract.
In this role, you will translate business requirements and security team requirements (policies, processes, and procedures) into a SharePoint strategy.

What will you be doing?
- Work with Business teams, Security and the IT Workstream to design and implement a Sharepoint Online solution that meets internal and external requirements, and ensuring the solution complies with documented network and security requirements.
- Design, Develop, Test and Implement an external collaboration solution (Web Content Management Portal) and internal document management in accordance with regulations relating to the handling of the data e.g. ITAR, Import/Export Controls, GDPR and IPR.
- Design, Develop, Test and Implement Internal and External web content against requirements e.g. Intranet and external portals.
- Design, Develop, Test and Implement a collaboration solution e.g. Team, Project and external collobaration with the latter being expected to be controlled through a CFS
- Provide technical and analytical guidance, developing and defining business and technical requirements and solution designs as part of defined projects.
- Implement SharePoint system solutions, including programming backend and frontend components extending the SharePoint environment/system capabilities.
- Define, develop, implement and document the management requirements of the document management capability, e.g. custom content types, policies and metadata.
Requirements
- Extensive SharePoint Solutions Delivery experience, preferably SharePoint Online.
- Deep Azure Knowledge.
- Experience in Intranet and Extranet Portal Development.
- Microsoft .NET Technology Stack Expertise.
- Experience integrating SharePoint solutions with backend operational and content management systems.
- In-depth knowledge and experience in designing and developing SharePoint components.
- Proficiency in SharePoint security and networking configurations.
- Experience with web development technologies including HTML, XHTML, XML, XSLT, Flash, CSS, Ajax, jQuery, JavaScript, SOAP/XML Web Services, and Silverlight.
