Based in Dublin, our client is a branded, global software research and development firm with numerous product specialisms including on-demand financial management and human capital management .

They are seeking a highly skilled and motivated People Operations Specialist to join their team on a  6 months hybrid contract in Dublin.

As a People Support Specialist, you will be responsible for handling employee support cases and HR processes that reflect substantial variety and complexity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding assistance to our colleagues, serving as their primary contact for a range of HR functions.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of the client’s global and regional policies, talent practices, HR programs, and systems.
  • Ensure prompt resolution of employee inquiries through our case management system, utilizing available resources and policy documentation.
  • Provide exceptional employee support through various channels, utilizing support playbook scripts and fostering cross-team relationships.
  • Update and maintain the workmate support playbook and knowledge articles to reflect current processes and scripts.
  • Lead the People & Purpose section of New Hire Orientation within the region.
  • Demonstrate effective collaboration with HR teams and operations.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills and prioritize exceptional customer service.
  • Adhere to strict confidentiality standards in accordance with company policies.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement on an ongoing basis.
  • Contribute to special projects within the People Operations department as required.

The ideal candidate has:
 

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • HR Operations Expertise: Demonstrated experience of 2-4 years in HR operations, with a strong understanding of end-to-end HR processes. The candidate should possess the skills to efficiently execute tasks related to HR support and operations.
  • System Proficiency: Familiarity with HR systems, particularly Workday, or experience with major HR tools such as SAP, Bamboo, or Oracle. The candidate should be adept at navigating and utilizing HR systems for back-office operations.
  • Process Documentation and Mapping: Strong documentation skills, including the ability to detail processes and create comprehensive process guides. The candidate should be skilled in process mapping and capable of providing clear documentation for effective handover and training
  • Works effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team, fostering strong professional relationships with peers, managers, and cross-functional teams.
  • Exhibits sound judgment in problem-solving and decision-making, involving necessary individuals at the appropriate junctures.
  • Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in written and verbal German or French beneficial
