We are currently looking for an experienced Data Center Security Operator (Mandarin speaking) to join our technological client’s team on an initial 12 months’ contract.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive security strategies for the data center facility. You will monitor and manage access control systems, surveillance, and alarm systems to ensure the physical security of the data center.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and enforce comprehensive security strategies.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to enhance cybersecurity measures.
  • Monitor access control, surveillance, and alarm systems.
  • Conduct regular security assessments.
  • Coordinate with external vendors.
  • Establish security policies for staff and visitors.
  • Respond to security incidents and provide detailed reports.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and threats.
  • Train data center staff on security processes.
  • Maintain documentation for protocols and compliance.
  • Manage day-to-day operations for efficient performance and high security.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science and technology-related fields.
  • Proven experience in data center security management with emphasis on physical security, data security, process security.
  • In-depth knowledge of access control systems, surveillance technologies, and cybersecurity protocols.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess and address security vulnerabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to adapt the changing security landscapes and implement proactive measures.
  • Being able to communicate in English. (Chinese language is a plus)
