Our client, a globally recognised retailer, is seeking an experienced Cloud Platform Architect to join them on an initial 7-month contract in Malmo, Sweden.
As the Cloud Platform Architect, you will be responsible for managing and implementing cloud-based platforms, ideally with Microsoft Azure technology as a base and in a global context. You will be leading and participating in solution architecture discussions and design related to modern integration principles and methods.
Contract type: B2B or temporary agency contract
Duration: 7 months
Daily rate: 4,800 SEK
Location: Malmo, Sweden. Hybrid role requiring 2-3 days in the office per week. Potential of occasional travel to a retailer country or Delft.
Work schedule: Standard office hours with the potential for future rotating 24/7 shifts

Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and supporting the needed Azure infrastructure to run D365 finance and operations as a SaaS service for retailers
- Building up the new platform, the team around it and take the lead of implementing and further developing digital cloud core retail platform strategy
- Working within agile product-centric development processes of the Retail Package, lead, support and secure a competent and high performing platform team, through internal or external sourcing
- Working with relevant stakeholders including other product and platform teams to understand and qualify their needs and requirements, ensuring they are included and integrated into the platform as needed
Requirements:
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Deep knowledge of Azure cloud services, architectures, and best practices.
- Experience with implementing security and governance models in Azure to ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies.
- Creativity in leveraging Azure cloud technologies to design innovative solutions that enhance product value and user experience.
