About the Role:
We are seeking a Technical Program Manager to join our client’s team. In this role you will be responsible for overseeing and driving strategic technical programs for digital building solutions. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors, helping to define and implement innovative building technologies that shape the future of smart environments.

Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify stakeholders, strategize with them, and prioritise objectives to ensure that project timelines and dependencies are aligned with organisational goals.
- Define, organise, and manage project activities to deliver on clear outcomes, including who is responsible, what needs to be done, and when and how it will be accomplished.
- Effectively communicate progress, risks, and mitigation strategies to all stakeholders.
- Align teams on decisions and adapt to changing circumstances to maintain project continuity.
- Measure, report, and analyse program metrics to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Drive and implement process improvements within the organisation, leveraging continuous improvement methodologies.
- Take ownership of problem spaces, identifying and implementing technical and business programs across medium to large work groups.
- Organise long-term, ambiguous projects into clear objectives and deliverables.
- Use advanced project management skills to break down programs into manageable tasks, delegating to junior team members as necessary.
- Select and apply the best methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) to maximise team effectiveness.
- Exhibit strong communication skills through presentations, reports, and representation of the program from both technical and business perspectives.
- Demonstrate an understanding of domain-specific technologies, including networking protocols, payments infrastructure, operating systems, cloud computing, and release management.
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience managing technical programs with cross-functional and outsourced teams.
- Proven experience managing building portfolios across multiple geographies, adhering to strict timelines, budgets, and quality metrics.
- Expertise in procurement and negotiation, including managing service delivery contracts with external vendors.
- A background in smart buildings, control systems, IoT systems, IoT cyber security, energy management, or a related field.
