Role Description
The Cloud Solutions Architect role is a deep technical position, working with customers to build technical capability, create innovative solutions to their business challenges, and uncover new workloads that could be migrated to Azure. This is a customer-facing role, owning the overall technical relationship between the customer and the Microsoft Azure Platform.
The successful candidate will be responsible for architectural design sessions, specific implementation projects, and Proofs of Concepts, as well as collaborating with other parts of the company and partners.
Must Have Skills
- 3+ years of success in complex technical sales and deployment projects, architecture, design, implementation, and/or support of highly distributed applications
- Proven record of accomplishment in building deep technical relationships with senior IT executives in large or highly strategic accounts
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to orchestrate, lead, and influence virtual teams
- Enterprise-scale technical experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructures, architecture designs, database migrations, and technology management
- Depth/Subject Matter Expertise in two or more of the following areas: Azure Cognitive Services, Azure Cognitive Search, Azure OpenAI, SQL, NoSQL Databases, Big Data, Advanced Analytics, Data Governance, Data Science, Machine Learning
Nice to Have Skills
- Knowledge of cloud development platforms
- Understanding of partner ecosystems and the ability to leverage partner solutions to solve customer needs
