Role Description
As the Supply Chain Manager, you will be at the forefront of implementing a new 3PL system for Europe, and you will plan and oversee the supply chain management for the area. You will be responsible for incoming and outgoing deliveries, monitor and manage inventory levels, and develop and implement processes and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Additionally, you will analyze and report on supply chain costs and performance, plan and analyze budgets and expenditures, and contribute to global process improvement work across supply chain, logistics, and distribution.
Must Have Skills
- 5+ years of experience in Supply chain management with a background e-commerce
- Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, practices, and technologies, including inventory management, demand planning, procurement, negotiations, and logistics
- Deep understanding of EU customs/import & ocean freight
- Experience managing Amazon FBA processes and utilizing Amazon Seller Central tools
- A self-starter with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where change and ambiguity are prevalent
- Previous experience within VMS, pharmaceutical, food, life sciences, or CPG sectors
- Proven track record in managing 3PL partners and integrating them into the wider distribution network
- Experience with NetSuite or similar supply chain, logistics, or distribution management systems
- Six Sigma Green Belt certification
