Overview
Our client, a leading global technology company, is seeking an experienced Solar Energy Solutions Manager to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in driving the company’s renewable energy initiatives across the European region.
Role Description
As the Solar Energy Solutions Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the residential and commercial & industrial (C&I) photovoltaic (PV) products and solutions, delivering exceptional value to customers. Your duties will include leading an ambitious team, expanding the business, building partnerships, and entering new markets. You will also be responsible for understanding customer requirements, identifying pain points, and developing targeted strategies and solutions to meet their needs.
Must-Have Skills
- Master the basic theory and knowledge of Solar Inverter technology
- Familiar with PV system design, including sizing of the PV strings, equipment selection, cable sizing, and system optimization
- Basic knowledge of battery energy storage system (BESS) solutions
- Knowledge of PV inverter technology, e.g. MPPT, LVRT, etc.
- Familiar with grid-related topics, e.g. Grid code, load flow analysis
- Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented, and excellent communication skills
- Good negotiation skills and planning and organizational skills
- Excellent command of English and German required for the role in Vienna (min C1 is required)
- Excellent command of English and Czech for the role in Prague (min C1 is required)
Nice to Have Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Technologies, Mechanical Engineering, Automatic Control Engineering, Photovoltaics, or a similar domain
- 3-5 years of working experience in the same field of work
- Comfortable with travel within the European region
