Software Test Automation Manager
Our client, a leading software solutions provider in the MedTech / HealthTech industry, is seeking a talented Software Automation Test Lead / Software Development Engineering Test Manager to join their Agile Development team. As the Automated Test Manager , you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of their SaaS software solutions.
The successful candidate will lead a team of Automated Test Engineers to ensure the quality and reliability of the company’s software products. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing automated testing strategies, driving continuous improvement, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust software solutions tailored to the needs of opticians and optometrists.
Must Have Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a relevant IT qualification
- Min 6+ years of experience in test automation and quality assurance, with a strong background in software testing and tools
- Plus min of 2 years of leadership experience, including managing and mentoring engineering teams
- Proficiency in programming/scripting languages used in test automation (e.g., Python, Java, C#)
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Appium) and CI/CD pipelines
Nice to Have Skills
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured) and performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner)
- ISTQB certification or equivalent credentials
