About the Role:
Join the Settlement team as a Senior Software Engineer, driving our client’s customer experience strategy with innovation and problem-solving. We seek a candidate who is passionate about the customer experience journey, highly motivated, intellectually curious, analytical, and entrepreneurial.
*Please note: This contract role requires EU citizenship or a valid Stamp 4 visa.
Responsibilities:
- Develop new Microservices, collaborating with core systems in the Treasury domain connected to central banks.
- Successfully code and implement complex features with broad scope and significant business impact.
- Create innovative, cost-effective solutions with high quality and rapid time to market.
- Lead daily system development and maintenance activities to meet service level agreements (SLAs).
Minimum Requirements:
- Experience: 7+ years in Java (version 17 desirable) and microservices development.
- Skills: Proficient in Kafka, Springboot, Angular, and Oracle.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in the financial industry.
- Education: Degree in an IT-related field.
