Key Responsibilities:
- Site Reliability Engineering:
- Ensure application scalability, performance, and resilience.
- Lead incident response and blameless post-mortems.
- Automate alerts and work with dev teams to improve reliability.
- DevOps/Automation:
- Solve complex development and business process problems.
- Enhance CI/CD pipelines and lead DevOps automation.
- Increase automation to minimize manual tasks.
- ITSM Practices:
- Analyze ITSM activities and provide feedback to dev teams on operational gaps.
Ideal Candidate:
- Education & Experience:
- BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Coding/scripting experience (e.g., C++, Java, Python, Go).
- Experience in SRE or related roles.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in algorithms, data structures, and software design.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Familiarity with large-scale distributed systems.
- Knowledge of cloud native tools and CI/CD practices.
- Preferred:
- Experience with Kubernetes, Splunk, Dynatrace.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and production support.
- Understanding of networking, load balancers, OS navigation, logging, and monitoring.
