Our client, a leading provider of healthcare software solutions, is currently seeking a Senior Release Engineer to join their global development team. This permanent, hybrid role (3 days in office in D15) allows you to contribute remotely while leading the charge on successful software releases.
Sponsorship is considered for candidates already based in Ireland.
In this critical role, you will:
- Own the Release Process: Oversee the entire release lifecycle from planning to execution, ensuring smooth and timely deployments.
- Define Release Success: Set clear criteria for successful releases and drive continuous improvement in release management processes.
- Lead Cross-Functional Teams: Orchestrate collaboration between developers, QA, and other stakeholders to ensure flawless delivery.
- Bridge the Gap: Translate business objectives into clear technical roadmaps and ensure releases align with company goals.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Has 2-5 years of experience in Release Engineering or a similar role.
- Possesses 1-2 years of experience in Release Management/Strategy or a similar role.
- Demonstrates exceptional communication skills, adept at clearly conveying technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. (Bonus: Experience with CI/CD pipelines, build/automation tools, and agile methodologies.)
- Has strong analytical thinking and a passion for process optimization.
- Excels at organization and communication, with fluent English.
