Senior BizOps Engineer

Join our client, a global tech powerhouse in the payments industry,  we’re looking for a Biz Ops Engineer who’s eager to dive into various areas of operations and engineering. You don’t need to be an expert in everything right away, but you’ll get the chance to work across several key functions throughout your career. Here’s a bit about what the role involves:

Key Areas of Focus:

• Site Reliability Engineering (SRE):
• DevOps/Automation:
• ITSM Practices

Requirements:

• A degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Exposure to coding or scripting.
• A passion for automation and finding new ways to push boundaries.
• Experience with algorithms, data structures, and software design.
• Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a sense of ownership.
• A love for troubleshooting and designing large-scale distributed systems.
• The ability to balance doing things right with making quick fixes when needed.
• A collaborative mindset to work with cross-functional teams and ensure systems are operating as expected.

Bonus Points for:

• Proficiency in C++, Java, Python, or Go.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Splunk and Dynatrace.
• Experience in a Site Reliability Engineering role or a similar field.
• Production support experience and knowledge of ITIL processes.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Git, Jenkins, and Chef, and a track record of creating efficient pipelines.
• Experience with cloud platforms like Azure, GCP, or AWS.
• Understanding of key concepts such as client-server relationships, networking, stack trace analysis, and load balancing.
