We are looking for an Azure DevOps Engineer to join our client global software development team at a leading optical retail cloud-based software company. This is an exciting chance to be part of our growth strategy as we design new web-based and mobile applications. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced DevOps Engineer to help drive our objectives forward.

About the Role:
As an Azure DevOps Engineer, you will be based at our clients Dublin headquarters and collaborate with established DevOps processes and Agile Development teams. This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of critical DevOps functions, lead prioritisation of issues, and work with the latest technology in a dynamic and innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deploy, automate, maintain, and manage software on production systems to ensure optimal performance, scalability, security, and availability.
  • Implement a continuous delivery process, supporting deployment, build, release, and configuration management of production systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across infrastructure and application domains.
  • Collaborate with development teams to onboard new applications into the CI/CD process.
  • Maintain and enhance the Continuous Integration environment, monitor builds, manage configurations, and resolve CI issues in real-time.
  • Work closely with architects, developers, and engineers to support all development phases, including production releases.
  • Deploy software in cloud environments and assist with Azure Infrastructure automation.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD processes.
  • A degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Experience in Release Engineering and Infrastructure as Code.
  • Proficiency in YAML pipelines, Git, and SCM strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a diverse, multicultural team.
  • Strong documentation abilities and attention to detail.
  • Thrives in a high-energy, fast-paced work environment.
