We are looking to hire a QHSE Advisor for our Client’s Engineering Office, based in Rotterdam. As a full-time QHSE Advisor, you will play a critical role in advising and executing tasks related to quality, health, safety and environment (QHSE) for our QHSE department in the Netherlands. Your role:
- Advise and execute tasks related to multi-site certifications.
- Coordinate with headquarters and local managers to meet quality and environmental requirements.
- Provide health and safety advice to support employee well-being, collaborating with local prevention teams.
- Organize weekly meetings to discuss QHSE topics with the internal prevention teams in the Netherlands.
- Lead coordination for proper administration and follow-up on incidents, toolbox meetings, inspections, onboarding, budget, and 5S inspections.
- Conduct risk analyses, advise on preventative measures, and implement global and annual prevention plans.
- Study work-related accidents to recommend improvements and avoid recurrence.
Your qualifications:
- Experienced in QHSE regulations, with expertise in multicertification.
- Minimum MVK level (Middelbare Veiligheidskunde) with a VCA Vol diploma.
- Fluent in English and Dutch, with strong communication skills.
- Excellent planning, organizing and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and provide sound advice on welfare laws and QHSE issues.
Role Summary
- Gross month salary between 3500 and 5500 euro gross per month (this is an all-in salary) (we don’t provide the maximum of the scale)
- Year salaries between 50k and 78k euro gross per year (this is an all-in salary)
- EU passport is a must
- Drivers license B and own car is a must
- Living in the Schiedam area is a must!
- This is the department QHSE in Schiedam.
- QHSE background and education is a must!
- Fluency in Business English and native Dutch speaker!
- Starters, graduates and young professionals are more than welcome to start in their 1st position!
