Our client, a multinational facility management service company, is currently seeking to expand their pan-European presence. They are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join their team in Dublin.

As an Operations Manager within the cleaning sector, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining effective client relationships, ensuring that regular liaison is maintained and that audits, KPIs, SLAs and management reports reflect the standard of service.

Contract: Permanent
Location: Swords, 2 days in the office + travel required for Leinster/Munster

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain effective client relationships ensuring that regular liaison is maintained.
  • Ensure contract retention is maximised.
  • Deliver out-sourced cleaning facilities to our client.
  • Take full accountability of the financial budget to ensure profitable returns to the business and best value to the client.
  • Manage conflict & resolve service provision.
  • Mobilise new contract wins, follow the company Mobilization plan from TUPE through to steady state.
  • Monitor attendance, sick leave, holiday requests, and time sheets.


  • 4+ years of practical experience in Facilities Management or related sector with proven success in an operational management position with customer satisfaction, line management and budget control responsibility.
  • Experience in the Cleaning/Soft Service sector is a must
  • Financial Management experience – previous experience managing multi-million euro P&L.
  • Be able to lead the onsite teams, challenge and positively influence their input to the sites.
  • Strong computer software skills.
  • Experience in delivering out-sourced facilities is desirable.
