Our client, a leading and innovative company in the building materials industry, is looking for an experienced Construction Operations Manager to oversee and optimize their business operations from start to finish.

In this role, your main responsibility will be to manage and coordinate the organization’s daily activities. This includes supervising staff, developing and implementing operational policies and procedures, and ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the organization.

Furthermore, you will handle the budgetary and financial aspects of the business and work closely with all departments to ensure alignment with the company’s overall goals. Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills are crucial for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Annual growth and development of the business

  • Clear strategy and planning for increased product sales and product development

  • Consolidating product portfolio

  • Adding new products to the existing range

  • Support operations

  • Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards

  • Supervise and manage sales team

  • Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, main contractors and stakeholders

  • Implement and improve operational processes

  • Resolve on-site issues and manage risk

  • Monitoring and analyzing operational processes

  • Identifying areas for improvement

  • Implementing solutions to increase productivity and efficiency

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of relevant experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field

  • In-depth knowledge of construction methods and regulations

  • Experience overseeing and coordinating day-to-day activities, developing operational policies, and ensuring efficient workflow

  • Experience overseeing budgetary and financial matters, e.g. Managing budgets, monitoring financial performance, and developing strategies for increased product sales and product development
