Our client, a leading global information and communications technology (ICT) solutions provider, is seeking a talented Mandarin speaking Junior Cloud Operations Specialist to join their team for a 12-months, onsite, PAYE contract in Dublin City West.
With a strong focus on supporting startups and driving innovation, this is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of the company’s cloud computing infrastructure across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.
Visa sponsorship is NOT provided, and candidates need to be based in Ireland.
As the Junior Cloud Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining the Europe/Africa/Middle East Cloud regions, organizing and maintaining Cloud site information, and designing integrated solutions. You will work closely with the regional delivery team to streamline and optimize the delivery process, ensuring seamless deployment and operation of the company’s cloud infrastructure.
Must Have Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or above in computer, electronics, and communications, with at least one year’s experience in Cloud Computing
- Proficiency in basic Linux commands and common Linux OS operations and configurations, such as Redhat/CentOS/Ubuntu/SUSE
- Basic command of one or more Cloud Computing platforms and technologies, such as OpenStack, KVM, distributed storage, and K8S
- Systematic thinking and the ability to design integrated solutions
- Basic knowledge of routing and switching, including but not limited to subnetting, routing protocols, and Layer 2 and Layer 3 principles
- Fluency in English and Mandarin
Nice to Have Skills
- HCIA/HCIP/HCIE certificates or equivalent certificates in the industry
- Knowledge of Cloud Data Centers or equipment rooms
- Experience in large-scale cloud data center planning, delivery, and O&M, or experience in AWS, Alibaba Cloud, and Tencent Cloud
