Join our client, an innovative packaging solutions provider in Lucerne with a unique opportunity for a Field Service Engineer. This hybrid position offers a permanent contract, and you will play a crucial role in supporting Swiss customers, primarily in the Central and Western Switzerland region.
Your responsibilities:
- Provide expert support for the client’s production lines in Switzerland, handling maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive services.
- Execute mechanical and electrical maintenance and repair tasks, ensuring thorough documentation updates.
- Directly coordinate with customers for on-site activities.
- Contribute to the training of customer personnel on the client’s lines.
- Oversee new installations and offer support during commissioning.
- Implement modifications and updates to the client’s systems.
Your experience and skills:
- 4+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, electric works, or production engineering.
- Technical training with a focus on mechanical engineering.
- Proficiency in control technology.
- Fluent in German and basic proficiency in English or French.
- High flexibility and a willingness to travel within Switzerland (deployment) and across Europe (training).
