Our client, a leading software solutions provider in the MedTech / HealthTech industry, is seeking an accomplished Director of Software Quality Engineering to join their team.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in establishing and executing a cohesive QA strategy that will elevate quality as a cultural tenet across the organization.
Role Description
As the Director of Software Quality Engineering, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and optimising a comprehensive QA Strategy, implementing quality checkpoints, and defining best practices for manual, automation, performance, load, continuity of operations testing (COOP), and other forms of non-functional testing.
You will work closely with the engineering, product, and release management teams to ensure a high level of quality in all aspects of solution delivery.
Must Have Skills
- Proven experience developing comprehensive QA strategies in a SaaS based technology-driven organization
- Track record in championing, mentoring and directing QA teams
- Strong expertise in QA process optimisation
- Track record of successful implementation of performant automation frameworks and tools
- Experience with non-functional testing, including performance, load, and continuity of operations testing (COOP), and other forms of non-functional testing
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integrating QA automation into development workflows
- Risk management
- KPI-Driven Reporting
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements relevant to SaaS and enterprise technology solutions
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
