We are currently searching for a Data Scientist who is looking for an exciting opportunity to work with a global management consulting firm in the UK.
This company is currently seeking a Data Scientist to join their team for a 6-month contract. As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for working on the firm’s GenAI powered version of ChatGPT powered by their data sources. You will work in a cross-functional team with many data scientists, engineers, designers, and product managers on a top priority initiative.

Key Functions:
- Actively drive data insights for GenAI use cases and build GenAI knowledge to bring to client engagements
- Experiment and learn state-of-the-art GenAI approaches to implement RAG systems
- Gain technical experience building GenAI at scale (NLP, Cloud, Infra, APIs, etc.)
- Learn agile working and product development while building GenAI products
- Apply knowledge of statistics, machine learning, programming, data modelling, simulation, and advanced mathematics to recognize patterns, identify opportunities, pose business questions, and make valuable discoveries leading to prototype development and product improvement.
- Use a flexible, analytical approach to design, develop, and evaluate predictive models and advanced algorithms that lead to optimal value extraction from the data.
- Generate and test hypotheses and analyse and interpret the results of product experiments.
- Work with product engineers to translate prototypes into new products, services, and features and provide guidelines for large-scale implementation.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- Strong understanding of NLP or general AI concepts
- Ability to design and conduct experiments to test hypotheses for product enhancements
- Experience in building GenAI at scale (NLP, Cloud, Infra, APIs, etc.)
- Product development experience, experience in working in software engineering type of set-up (beyond Jupyter Notebooks)
