As a Data Center Electrician, you’ll be the lifeline of our client’s mission-critical infrastructure. Your role is crucial, ensuring top-notch reliability, safety, and operational efficiency.
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Guidance & Support: Lead contractors, vendors, and service providers, ensuring seamless on-site operations.
- Performance Monitoring: Conduct routine checks to ensure equipment is running smoothly.
- Emergency Response: Act swiftly to address any unexpected issues or emergencies.
- Operational Mastery: Take daily readings, adhere to SOPs, and uphold the highest operational standards.
- Electrical Expertise: Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems with precision.
- Safety Leadership: Set the standard for safety, ensuring a secure work environment for everyone.
- Technical Skill: Leverage your experience with building management and electrical systems to keep everything running perfectly.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
- Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in electrical work.
- Certification: Qualified Electrical Worker certification (Level 6 FETAC Electrical Cert) and OSHA or OSHA-approved NFPA 70E certification.
- Safety First: Valid SafePass card to ensure you prioritize safety.
- Technical Know-How: Proven experience with electrical equipment, including generators, air handling units, switchgear, and UPS systems, following SOPs for operations and safety protocols.
- Data Center Experience: Previous experience in a data center environment is essential.
- Educational Background: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Software Savvy: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) is a plus.
