A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Contract Manager to join a global procurement team. This company is looking for an experienced professional who is passionate about forging close working relationships with business partners and other teams throughout the company.

About the Role
As a member of the Buy Desk Team, the Contract Manager supports business partners and requests with project processing.  You will be reviewing, negotiating, and processing large volumes of projects, with an end to end contract lifecycle approach, and doing so with accuracy in an expedited manner. This role provides the opportunity to work on various types of contracts, enhancing your skills and expertise across different industries and agreements.

Contract: Fixed term – 11 months with a possibility of extension
Type: Hybrid, onsite 3 days a week

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Review, edit, draft, negotiate, and process various contract types efficiently.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary data for sourcing projects.
  • Ensure accurate contract/project information in systems.
  • Provide training and guidance on contracting principles and procedures.
  • Integrate supplier information into relevant systems.
  • Manage multiple contracts simultaneously.
  • Serve as a liaison for projects, ensuring Buy Desk requirements are met.
  • Communicate project status to stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline procurement and contracting processes.
  • Persuasively advocate for appropriate contracting methods and parameters.
  • Oversee end-to-end contract lifecycle and train business partners.
  • Support Source to Pay initiatives as a team liaison.
  • Develop tools and resources for assigned categories and coordinate with business partners.

Desired Qualifications:

  • 8+ year’s experience in contract lifecycle management, or applicable legal environment
  • Advanced contract management / contract negotiation and drafting of legal terms & conditions experience
  • Proficiency in use of contract management software, electronic procurement, supply chain and /or analytical software
  • Proven negotiation, drafting, and redline skillset a must
