About the Role:
Join our clients’ Cloud team as a Solutions Engineer, where you’ll work hands-on with clients to implement AI and ML workloads on a cutting-edge cloud platform. This role is deeply technical, requiring a strong grasp of cloud infrastructure and AI tools to ensure clients successfully leverage the platform to its fullest potential. As a trusted advisor, you’ll support pre-sales and post-sales efforts, contributing to scalable, reusable solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive customer satisfaction and technical excellence.
Core Responsibilities:
- Technical Advisor for Clients: Serve as a key technical resource, guiding clients in deploying and optimizing AI/ML workloads.
- Solution Development: Collaborate closely with clients to scope, deploy, and refine AI workloads, utilizing cloud infrastructure tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
- Pre-Sales & Post-Sales Support: Partner with Sales and Customer Success to ensure smooth onboarding, from proof-of-concept through deployment, offering robust technical support post-deployment.
- Workload Optimization: Lead efforts in benchmarking, validating, and optimizing AI/ML workloads for peak performance and efficiency.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Work with Engineering and Product teams to refine our platform roadmap based on client feedback and technical needs.
- Client Demonstrations & Education: Conduct workshops, demonstrations, and technical discussions to educate clients on best practices and platform benefits.
- Platform Evangelism: Develop technical content, including case studies, blog posts, and solution guides, to highlight successful client deployments and showcase best practices.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Cloud Infrastructure Expertise: Proven experience with a major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP), deploying and managing cloud infrastructure.
- Kubernetes Proficiency: Expertise in Kubernetes for managing containerized applications, including deploying, scaling, and managing clusters.
- Containerization with Docker: Experience building and deploying applications in Docker containers within cloud environments.
- Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC): Hands-on experience with IaC tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible for automated deployments.
- AI/ML Workload Deployment: Demonstrated experience deploying ML or high-performance computing (HPC) workloads in cloud environments.
- Linux Mastery: Strong command-line skills with the ability to manage, troubleshoot, and optimize Linux-based systems.
- Networking Fundamentals: Solid grasp of networking principles (VPCs, subnets, firewalls, load balancers, DNS) as applied to cloud infrastructure.
- Performance Benchmarking & Optimization: Ability to conduct benchmarking, validate AI workloads, and optimize for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
- Scripting Skills: Proficiency in Python, Bash, or similar for automation and infrastructure management.
- Cloud Certifications: Professional certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, GCP Professional Cloud Architect, or Azure Solutions Architect) are preferred.
- Technical Documentation: Strong ability to create detailed, clear technical documentation for internal and client-facing solutions.
