Our client, a leading cybersecurity company, is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join their dynamic team in the UK. This exciting opportunity offers the chance to drive upsell programme efforts and work across functions to ensure successful Go-To-Market plays for their cutting-edge products. Contract: Agency temporary contract, until end of July 2025 

Location: Remote from the UK with occasional visits to the London office

Role Description 

As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for building upsell pipeline by engaging the installed base of customers. You will develop strong working relationships with Sales Leaders, Specialist teams, and Account Teams to support sales strategies. This role involves working closely with sales to align resources and identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities. The Business Development Manager will also build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships with Customer Success, Product Management, Marketing, Sales, and Channel teams to drive improvements and accelerate growth within the portfolio. 

Must-Have Skills 

  • 3+ years of sales experience with a proven track record of pipeline and bookings generation 

  • Knowledge of the Cybersecurity product landscape and enterprise B2B sales 

  • Experience in SASE (Secure Access Service Edge) technologies 

  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills 

  • Strong business judgment and demonstrated understanding of the sales process 

  • Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple organisations and field sellers 

Nice to Have Skills 

  • Familiarity with upsell and cross-sell strategies in the cybersecurity sector 

  • Data analysis skills for developing strategies and recommendations 

  • Experience in creating compelling presentations for various audiences, including customers and executive leadership
