Are you an experienced Business Data Analyst with a passion for extracting valuable insights from complex datasets? Our client, a leading international internet services provider, is seeking a talented individual like you to join their dynamic team in Dublin.
As a Business Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in providing actionable insights, and creating informative reports based on business data.
Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks including data extraction, governance, visualization, and analysis to support operational decision-making, product optimization, and business strategy development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and utilize advanced data mining techniques to extract meaningful information.
- Utilize SQL, R, Python, or other data analysis languages to analyse complex datasets and generate actionable insights.
- Work closely with Data Scientists to translate data into strategic approaches and communicate findings to managers and decision-makers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data quality, accuracy, and timeliness.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in Information Technology.
- 2+ years of experience in database analysis, data mining, and statistics.
- Proficiency in SQL, R, Python, or similar languages.
- Experience analysing complex datasets and translating them into strategic approaches.
- Native Mandarin is a plus
Beneficial Skills:
- Previous experience with Hadoop, Hive.
- Experience in customer data analysis.
- Collaboration with product teams.
- Exposure to e-commerce or digital marketing/mobile applications.
- Professional working proficiency in Mandarin.
Conditions:
- Location: Dublin, Ireland.
- Model: Fully onsite.
- Contract: 12-months PAYE.
