A leading healthcare software company is seeking a talented Release Manager to join their dynamic team in Dublin for a permanent role (hybrid role 3 days in office). This role is critical for ensuring timely and high-quality software releases.

Be the Release Orchestrator:
- Craft the vision and strategy for successful releases, setting clear success criteria.
- Oversee all aspects of the release process, leading and coordinating cross-functional teams (development, testing, operations).
- Continuously improve the release management process, identifying opportunities for automation and optimization.
- Implement key metrics to track release progress and ensure continuous improvement.
- Manage stakeholder expectations throughout the release cycle, both internally and externally.
- Oversee the technical aspects of releases, including software compilation and deployment through CI/CD pipelines.
- Effectively communicate release outcomes and facilitate swift issue resolution to minimize downtime.
- Document release processes, configurations, and deployment procedures for future reference.
- Provide training and support to team members on release-related best practices.
The Ideal Candidate:
- 2+ years of experience in release engineering or a related role.
- 1+ years of experience in release management/strategy or a similar role.
- Proven understanding of release management best practices and methodologies.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and build automation tools.
- Ability to analyze, design, and improve complex release processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
- Strong scripting skills (e.g., Shell, Python) for process automation nice to have
- Experience working in an Agile development environment nice to have
