They are now seeking a highly skilled and experienced SOC Cyber Security Engineer.
Role Description
As the SOC Cyber Security Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and resilience of our client’s infrastructure, applications, and data. The primary focus of the role will be managing their vulnerability management and incident response systems while contributing to key security projects.
Must Have Skills
- Minimum of 3+ years of dedicated experience as a SOC Security Engineer
- Proven experience with vulnerability management: identifying, assessing, prioritising, and remediating security weaknesses in security architecture, systems and software to reduce risk and protect against cyberattacks.
- Strong experience with Azure security tools, networking, Windows and cloud security
- Hands-on expertise with web application security tools and methodologies
- Experience with compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001 and SOC 2
Nice to Have Skills
- Direct experience with vulnerability technology stack (SonarCube, Sonarcloud, Snyk, Azure Policy, Azure Defender for Cloud, Edgescan, Portswigger)
- Direct experience with incident response technology stack (Palo Alto Cortex XDR, Azure Sentinel)
- Scripting capabilities
