Role Description
As the Senior Process Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for developing process integration schemes for new devices, managing the development of required process steps/modules, and optimizing existing processes to meet the overall performance goals. You will also be involved in following up on relevant literature and industry trends, making benchmark reports, and proposing new integrated process flows to meet the company’s requirements and target applications.
Must Have Skills
- Preferably a PhD degree in Materials science, Physics, Chemistry or a related technical discipline. A Master’s degree is also considered in combination with demonstrated relevant experience.
- Minimum 3 but preferably 5 years of hands-on experience in CMOS lab/fab process engineering, including typical CMOS processes like CVD, photolithography, dry and wet etch, metallization, metrology, CMP, and wafer bonding.
- Thorough understanding of typical CMOS processes and their interactions, as well as knowledge of device physics and relevant materials like Si, 2D-materials, and Ge.
Nice to Have Skills
- Ability to understand process integration flows and experience in hands-on process step and module development.
- Working knowledge of tools available on the market and the ability to define selection criteria and select them.
- Previous experience in technology transfer.
