Overview
Our client, is a leading value-added distributor of networking solutions (LAN and WAN solutions, including wireless and switches) and unified communications (UC) products backed with a range of services including certified training, design, pre- and post-sales support and pre-configuration/fulfilment etc.
They are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a technical sales professional to make a significant impact in a growing organization. Targeting primarily the SME and Enterprise markets, these products and solutions are supplied to Value Added Resellers, Service Providers, System Integrators, Retail customers and Educational Institutions
Role Description
As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving business growth for our client’s portfolio of networking solutions and technical services. Additionally, you will also sell the company’s unified communications (UC) range to customers.
Must Have Skills
- Minimum 5 years of experience selling similar products into the networking and/or UC markets
- Strong knowledge of the networking industry, including an understanding of related products and applications
- Excellent sales and account management skills, with a proven track record of success
- Proficient in working with trade channels, such as resellers and system integrators in the SME and Enterprise market
- Ability to demonstrate a high level of professionalism and integrity
Nice to Have Skills
- Experience in a channel-focused environment
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to provide input on customer, supplier, and company-related matters
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive and able to work under pressure with minimal supervision
