Why You’ll Love This Role:
As a Financial Controller, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the P&L, aiding in financial reporting, and overseeing budgeting and forecasting for various company sectors. Your expertise will ensure the accuracy and integrity of our client’s financial data.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Data Management: Organize and analyze financial data from various sources within the group, preparing comprehensive financial analyses across dimensions like Revenue, Opex, and Capex.
  • Close Processes: Participate in month-end, quarterly, and annual financial closes.
  • Performance Monitoring: Collaborate with different business units to monitor business performance.
  • Reporting: Prepare and enhance both internal and external financial reports.
  • Planning: Contribute to forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning.
  • Financial Records: Maintain and manage financial records and bookkeeping for different group entities, including preparing standalone and consolidated financial statements.
  • Framework Enhancement: Implement automation and advanced tools to enhance the financial framework.
  • ERP Management: Support the accounting team in managing book entries within the ERP system.

Must-Have Skills:

  • At least 4 years of professional experience in finance and controlling within a multinational environment.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Economic and Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance.
  • Solid forecasting experience and knowledge of foreign currencies.
  • Experience with financial close processes and auditor exposure.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office, accounting software, SAP, databases, ERP.
  • Excellent communication skills, fluent in English and Spanish (oral/written).

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience in tech and start-up/scale-up environments.
  • A minimum of 2 years of audit experience.
  • Good knowledge of Spanish GAAP and IFRS.
