Software Implementation Project Manager – B2B SaaS

Our client is offering an exciting senior leadership role within a dynamic, innovative software solutions provider. This position involves managing complex international projects, primarily focusing on delivering cutting-edge technology to key North American clients, and requires working within a collaborative, agile environment. Must Have Skills

  • Advanced Project Planning & Execution – Extensive experience in creating, maintaining, and executing detailed project plans, including Gantt charts, RAID logs, and resource management, preferably with formal certification (PRINCE2, PMI, Scrum).
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Communication – Strong ability to liaise effectively with senior internal stakeholders and external clients, ensuring clear, timely communication and expectation management.
  • International Quality & Governance Standards – Proven knowledge of managing projects across borders, adhering to governance frameworks like SAFe, Agile, and Lean, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
  • Risk & Issue Management – Skilled in proactively identifying project risks, developing mitigation strategies, and reporting issues to ensure project stability and success.
  • Technical Software Development Acumen – Solid understanding of SDLC phases, requirements gathering, and deployment processes, essential for overseeing software project delivery.

 

Nice to Have Skills

  • Agile Frameworks & Methodologies – Hands-on experience with Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe practices to promote efficient team collaboration and iterative development.
  • Client-Focused Deployment Experience – Background in implementing software products on external client sites, especially in North America and Europe, ensuring successful onboarding and migration.
  • Data Migration Expertise – Experience in major data conversion or migration projects supporting seamless transitions and system integrations.
  • Technology & Tools Proficiency – Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, and other project management or collaboration tools that support software development cycles.

 

Additional Functional Requirements

  • Leadership & Mentoring – Ability to guide and support project teams and junior managers, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Time Zone Coordination – Flexibility to work North American hours, supporting scheduling and communication with US and Canadian clients and teams.
  • Travel Flexibility – Willingness and ability to travel up to 20%, primarily for project kick-offs or critical client meetings.
  • Problem Solving & Decision Making – Demonstrated capability to analyze complex situations and implement effective solutions swiftly.
  • Customer & Stakeholder Orientation – Customer-centric mindset with experience managing client relationships and delivering project value.

 

Educational and Certification Requirements:

  • Degree in a Relevant Field – Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Project Management Certification – Formal certification such as PRINCE2, PMI, Scrum Master, or SAFe is highly preferred.
