SaaS Sales Executive

Our client, a global leader in software solutions, is seeking an energetic and results-driven Sales Executive to expand their presence across North America.

This role offers the chance to engage with innovative SaaS products focused on practice management, EHR and eCommerce platforms within the eyecare industry.

With comprehensive training, competitive OTE package, and a strong emphasis on independence, this position is ideal for a self-motivated sales professional looking to make an impact in a growing, high-tech sector.

Travel to industry events and customer sites will be part of the role.


Role Description
This sales position is designed to generate new business for our client’s software solutions in the optical and healthcare sectors. The successful candidate will identify and develop potential customer relationships, manage outbound and inbound sales activities, and close multiple deals monthly—focusing on smaller to medium-sized enterprise clients. You will be responsible for building a pipeline through prospecting, outbound marketing, and leveraging inbound inquiries, with an emphasis on developing sustainable, long-term customer relationships across a defined territory.

Technical Must Have Skills:

  • Proven SaaS sales experience in North America – At least 3 years of successful SaaS sales experience with a focus on rapid deal closure and pipeline development.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills – Ability to articulate product value to diverse audiences including decision-makers and end-users effectively.
  • Ability to manage multiple sales cycles – Experience closing 7-10 deals per month with different-sized clients, with a focus on quick turnaround times.
  • Salesforce or CRM proficiency – Experience maintaining accurate forecasts, opportunity tracking, and pipeline management using CRM tools.
  • Experience working with outbound prospecting and lead generation – Demonstrated success in generating and qualifying leads through outbound activities.

Technical Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience selling into optical, retail, or healthcare sectors – Familiarity with industry-specific workflows and client expectations.
  • Knowledge of omni-channel, customer engagement, or cloud solutions – Adds value in positioning the SaaS offerings creatively.
  • Familiarity with enterprise sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDPICC, Challenger) – Supports strategic account planning and deal execution.
  • Background in target-driven sales environments – Proven ability to hit short-term quotas and manage a high volume of transactions.
  • Networking and industry event participation experience – Enhances pipeline growth and brand presence at trade shows and conferences.

Additional Functional Requirements:

  • Proactive self-starter – Capable of independently building and managing a sales pipeline.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills – Building and nurturing relationships across multiple levels within client organizations.
  • Travel flexibility – Willing and able to attend trade shows and client visits across North America without restrictions.
  • Ability to work remotely and independently – Effectively managing your territory with minimal supervision.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills – Closing deals within a typical 4-month sales cycle, with a focus on quick wins.

Educational and Certification Requirements:
 

  • Educational background in IT, Business, or related fields – Minimum bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Sales certifications (e.g., MEDDPICC, Challenger, Solution Selling) – Not mandatory but advantageous.
