Our client, a leading supplier in the recycled plastics industry, is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to spearhead their growth across Europe. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a proactive, results-driven professional to build new client relationships, develop strategic market entry plans, and drive revenue in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. The ideal candidate will thrive on challenges, possess a strong understanding of PET plastics, and be motivated by achieving targets within a mission-oriented organization dedicated to sustainability and innovation.

Technical Must Have Skills:

  • Proven Business Growth Experience – Demonstrated success in generating new opportunities and exceeding sales objectives within the plastics sector.
  • Client Relationship Building & Negotiating – Exceptional communication skills with a proven track record of closing deals and maintaining high-value client relationships.
  • Industry and Market Insights – Deep knowledge of market trends, competitive landscapes, and translating industry data into strategic initiatives.
  • PET Plastic Knowledge – Familiarity with PET materials, their properties, applications, manufacturing standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Self-Driven & Strategic Thinking – A proactive mindset with a focus on achieving results through analytical problem solving and independent planning.

Technical Nice to Have Skills:

  • Technological Adaptability & Remote Working – Comfortable using new tools and technology platforms in a flexible, entrepreneurial, remote work environment.
  • Collaborative Skills & Teamwork – Ability to work seamlessly across marketing, procurement, and operational teams to align strategy and execution.
  • Market and Business Planning Expertise – Experience in developing and implementing comprehensive business plans based on market data and trends.
  • Relationship Management & Client Engagement – Skilled in conducting strategic client meetings and tailoring solutions to client needs.
  • CRM and Sales Analytics Proficiency – Experienced in leveraging CRM tools and sales data to monitor pipeline health, forecast sales, and optimize strategies.
