As they embark on an exciting phase of growth, they are seeking a highly motivated Business Intelligence Data Analytics Engineer to join their data analytics function. Role Description:
In this role you will be instrumental in developing the company’s data analytics and BI dashboard reporting capabilities, working in a team of 3-4 Data Analysts, designing and building informative data dashboards that ensure data integrity and accuracy within the pharmaceutical sector. This position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and interpret complex datasets, into actionable strategies that support the organisation’s core operations. You will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining comprehensive dashboards, developing advanced analytics visualisations, and shaping data strategies within the healthcare sector.
What You Will Bring (Must-Have Skills):
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive and demonstrable experience in data analysis, design and development generating impactful insights through reporting and analysis
- Strong technical proficiency in SQL
- Expertise working with Power BI Business Intelligence & Data Visualisation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively determine and share complex business insights to various stakeholders including executive leadership.
Ideally, You Will Also Have:
- Experience with statistical analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., R, Python).
- Familiarity with Azure cloud-based data platform
- Experience working in a startup or scaling environment.
- Appreciation of pharmaceutical data landscapes (e.g., NDC, TRx/NRx/NBRx, WAC, and industry-specific data challenges a plus.
Technical Must Have Skills:
- SQL Development & Optimisation – Extensive experience crafting complex SQL queries for data extraction and analysis, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Power BI Expertise – Proven ability to develop and maintain visually compelling reports and dashboards that facilitate business insight.
- Data Analysis & Visualisation – Robust skills in analyzing large, unstructured datasets, and using visualization tools to communicate insights effectively.
- Industry-specific Data Understanding – Deep familiarity with pharmaceutical data, including supply chain, and market data.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Python, R, Power Automate or RPA Tools – Experience with automation and analytics programming to enhance data processing workflows.
- Industry Awareness – Understanding of pharmaceutical industry challenges.
- Cloud Data Platforms – Familiarity with Azure cloud solutions
- Advanced Analytics & AI – Ability to leverage emerging technologies such as AI for predictive modeling and refined insights.
