We’re looking for a practical, production-minded Java Developer to join a Madrid-based team working on a mission-critical in-house CRM platform (established system, real users, real uptime).
What you’ll do
- Build and maintain backend functionality in Java 7/8
- Work on integrations (APIs/services, data flows) and production troubleshooting
- Fix incidents, improve performance, and deliver changes safely
- Collaborate closely with local engineers and stakeholders (Spanish-speaking environment)
What we need
- Recent commercial experience in Java 7 and/or Java 8 (hands-on, not just “exposed to”)
- Strong debugging/troubleshooting mindset in live environments
- Comfortable working in an established codebase and improving it incrementally
- Spanish for day-to-day work; English at a basic/conversational level is enough
Nice to have
- SQL / MySQL, Linux, build tools (Maven/Gradle/Ant)
- Any exposure to telephony/CTI (not required)
