Based in Stockholm, Sweden, our client is responsible for managing the traffic and making the lives of Stockholm’s passengers easier. They are looking for a Software Tester with 9 + years of experience in system integration testing in environments without graphical interfaces to join them initially on a 5-month contract with an opportunity to extend.
As a software tester, you will deliver integration solutions that support the development projects’ needs for new integrations.

Overall Responsibilities:
- Attend a stand-up meeting with the team.
- Start testing a newly developed story by downloading the code and building it using development tools.
- Test systematically and exploratively in simulators, emulators, and test devices.
- Manipulate data through a proxy to achieve events in the SL App.
- Register any bugs that are found.
- Engage in a dialogue with the team’s developers and UX designers on how to develop a feature.
- Engage in a dialogue with other teams that SL App depends on.
- Develop automated tests.
What does the Ideal Candidate look like?
- Strong experience in quality assurance and testing, with a focus on mobile applications.
- Proficiency in manual testing methodologies and techniques, including systematic and exploratory testing.
- Knowledge of simulators, emulators, and test devices for mobile app testing.
- Ability to manipulate data through a proxy to simulate different scenarios in the app.
- Familiarity with development tools and processes, including downloading code and building applications.
- Excellent bug tracking and reporting skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to engage with developers and UX designers.
- Experience in developing automated tests for regression testing.
- Fluent Swedish and English.
