Our client is a global leader in eyecare software and has a reputation for delivering state of the art, cutting edge technology and top class customer service. 

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Project Manager to join our global development team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing the successful implementation of software solutions for eyecare practices worldwide. The Project Manager will collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the highest quality standards. Ideally, the PM will have Scrum Master certification and experience working in SAFe.

Our client operates in a hybrid working environment. This particular role will be based in the office 3 days per week, involves frequent travel to other offices and customer sites and will sometimes follow US working hours. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the eyecare industry.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute project plans, defining project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including software development, implementation, training, and support teams, to ensure successful project execution
  • Manage project resources, including allocating tasks, tracking progress, and ensuring timely completion
  • Conduct regular project status meetings, providing updates to stakeholders and addressing any concerns or issues
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, implementing appropriate strategies to minimize potential disruptions
  • Monitor project budget and expenses, ensuring adherence to financial constraints
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration environment among team members, clients, and third-party vendors
  • Ensure compliance with Scaled Agile Framework practices and methodologies among the team
  • Conduct post-implementation evaluations to identify improvement areas and facilitate continuous process advancements
  • Travel to client sites as required to support project implementation and provide training as needed
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, while demonstrating outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

 

The successful candidate must have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field
  • A Professional Project Management certification, such as PRINCE2 or PMP
  • A Scrum Master certification or strong experience working in SAFe
  • 3+ years of project management experience, preferably in the software industry
  • Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies and tools
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills, and the capacity to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Outstanding communication skills, with proven ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address challenges and drive project success
  • Perfectly fluent English
