Join our client, a global technology leader in the payments industry as a Technical Program Manager – Payments Innovation for a 12-months Ltd. contract in a hybrid model in Dublin Ireland. In this role you will be responsible for driving multiple simultaneous projects and delivering engineering work across the portfolio in an Agile/Scrum environment.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of technical platforms, capabilities, and underlying technologies, as well as coordination and organization skills to work with multiple stakeholders and vendors across locations.

Responsibilities:

  • Conceptualize, rationalize, and drive execution of features to deliver engineering work across the portfolio.
  • Contribute to the strategies, design choices, and infrastructure necessary to build comprehensive and achievable execution plans to deliver high-profile new features and capabilities for customers.
  • Oversee and ensure adherence to delivery plans and obligations.
  • Coordinate and expedite a cluster of interrelated technology projects or tasks involving multiple teams, fostering alignment among interconnected organizations.
  • Identify intricacies and establish reliable pathways for delivering large-scale or complex initiatives predictably.
  • Collaborate with multiple scrum/delivery teams to refine operational practices, proactively addressing and mitigating risks or challenges that may affect the plan.
  • Facilitate meaningful retrospectives, guiding the team in identifying actionable measures for improvement and communicating external constraints to leadership.
  • Clearly outline project scope, timelines, dependencies, responsible parties, and actions, providing regular progress updates to both teams and senior leadership.

The ideal candidate is:

  • 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Proven track record of data driven decision-making and applying continuous improvement methodologies across teams.
  • Expertise in Payments, IaaS, PaaS.
  • Technical capability to effectively solve software engineering challenges, communicate with engineers, scope technical programs, and identify technical risks.
  • Project managements/Microsoft projects planning.
