We are presently collaborating with a prominent software company to enhance their position as a leading global software and service provider, catering to clients in 42 countries. They are seeking a Software Installation and Training Consultant with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience to join their team on a permanent basis in Burnaby, Vancouver.
The chosen candidate will primarily focus on installing and setting up the new client’s software at customer locations to match their business needs. Whether it’s small independent opticians or large, well-known retail chains, candidates will face changing challenges that demand a mix of technical expertise and practical problem-solving abilities.

Salary: up to CAD 85 k/year – based on experience
To be eligible for this role, candidates must either hold Canadian permanent residency or possess Canadian citizenship due to anticipated travel requirements.
What will you do?
- Setting up and configuring the client’s software at customer locations to match their specific business processes and requirements.
- Collaborating with Implementation Managers to understand customer needs and determine success criteria for customer deliveries.
- Delivering customer training, both remotely and on-site.
- Creating the client’s training materials and documentation using established best practices, methodologies, and tools.
- Proactively identifying potential issues and taking steps to resolve them to prevent any adverse impact on customers.
- Supporting team members in developing and implementing technical solutions, such as implementations, upgrades, and migrations.
- Offering post go-live remote support to customers.
- Being prepared to travel up to 50% of the time when necessary.
You must have:
- 5+ years of experience in a technical support role including software installation and training.
- A degree / diploma / MA in IT / Computer science or equivalent.
- Demonstrated ability to use a consultative approach to customer engagements/deliveries.
- Have a full, clean driving licence (frequent travel to client sites).
- 4 weeks holidays per annum
