We are search for a highly creative and experienced Senior Technical Support Engineer to join our client based in Dublin city centre.

Our client, a US multinational offer cloud solutions focusing on automation, customer experience, and technology excellence by developing and providing products that enhance productivity and workflow efficiency.

Role: Senior Technical Support Engineer
Duration: 11 Months
Location:   Dublin
 

Our client is currently conducting all interviews online and this role is a hybrid position offering some work from home days.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to field engineers, technicians, and product support personnel who are diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing and debugging complex electro/mechanical equipment, computer systems, complex software, or networked and/or wireless systems.
  • Respond to situations where first-line product support has failed to isolate or fix problems in malfunctioning equipment or software.
  • Reports design, reliability and maintenance problems or bugs to design engineering/software engineering.
  • Customer installation and training.
  • Provide support to customer/users where the product is highly technical or sophisticated in nature.

Skills & Requirements:

  • 3 3-8 years technical support experience, ideally with enterprise support
  • Experience in one (or more) of the following: – Email Infrastructure (POP3/IMAP, SMTP), -Authentication & Authorisation Technologies (LDAP, SAML), -Web Services (SOAP, REST), -Data Extraction Technologies (JDBC, ODBC), -Networking (HTTP, TCP/IP)
  • Experience in one (or more) scripting languages: JavaScript, Python, Perl, Unix Shell, Windows Shell)
  • Experience with relational databases (MySQL, Oracle)
  • Experience working with cloud based software like Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, Okta
