The Role – Senior Financial Analyst
As a Senior Financial Analyst/Finance Expert, your skills will play a pivotal role in enhancing financial operations, encompassing but not limited to:
- Leverage your extensive accounting practice experience and profound knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS, UK & Irish GAAP, US GAAP) to meticulously prepare and review financial statements.
- Utilize your firsthand proficiency with systems such as SAP and Oracle to expertly manage financial data and ensure impeccable reporting accuracy.
- Apply your practical expertise in software applications to drive astute financial analysis and reporting, unleashing impactful insights.
- Employ your prowess in forecasting, budgeting, and financial modelling to contribute to strategic decision-making that propels our company forward.
- Team up with cross-functional groups to communicate financial insights, guarantee precise reporting, and fortify our decision-making processes.
- Assume a leadership role in crafting work plans and nurturing team members, upholding rigorous audit and financial standards.
- Engage with diverse clients and markets, nurturing robust relationships and consistently delivering exceptional service.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A minimum of five years in accounting practice, including three years of industry-specific involvement in a pharmaceutical company as both an Inventory Analyst and AR Analyst.
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified or in-progress qualification.
- In-depth familiarity with accounting and auditing standards, including SOX requirements.
- Expertise in utilizing accounting systems such as SAP and Oracle to navigate complex financial landscapes.
- Advanced skills in Excel, encompassing VLOOKUPs, SUMIF, Pivot Tables, and Macros, enabling you to create powerful financial models.
- Demonstrated ability in forecasting, budgeting, and financial modelling that drives meaningful business decisions.
- Strong interpersonal skills that foster clear and effective communication.
Professional Experience:
- Pharmaceutical Insight: Experience as an Inventory Analyst and AR Analyst within the pharmaceutical sector.
- A history of success in Month End Close processes, credit note processing, accruals, reconciliations, and AR activities.
- A commitment to delivering results through effective communication skills, relationship building, and a determination to drive positive outcomes.
