They are currently seeking a Senior Business Analyst (Business Architect) to support the Business Manager of our Integrated Network Management Programme, a major 300M€ initiative for the digitalisation of our core functions. This role is critical to the success of the iNM project to assist in replacing our ageing legacy systems with the very latest technological solutions.
As a Senior Business Analyst (Business Architect), you will be responsible for developing and documenting Service (User/Stakeholder) Requirements and the Business Architecture, providing a baseline against which future evolutions can be built. You will produce the Service Requirements Document(s) and Business Architecture Landscape, describing the current organisation, functions, processes, and requirements for IT capabilities to support this business architecture.
To be successful in this role, you should have at least 5-10 years of experience in roles relevant to this requirement, a university degree with a specialisation in system engineering, aeronautical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, business analysis, or comparable qualification. You should also have a proven track record in user requirements capture for complex system-of-systems architectures, business analysis, and business architecture development. In addition, you should have recent experience on large and complex change programmes/projects, and be able to work in a multinational and multicultural environment.
This role is critical to the success of the iNM project to assist in replacing our ageing legacy systems with the very latest technological solutions. The iNM project is of high strategic importance for the Agency and has a strict and challenging timeline that has to be met. The consultants will be tasked by the iNM Business Manager but will also be required to work closely with the NM Technology Division Architecture Unit with regard to process and tooling. The consultants will be supported by iNM staff but should be able to work independently as much as feasible.
Must have Skills (Demonstrable experience required):
• University studies of at least 4 years with specialisation in system engineering, aeronautical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, business analysis or comparable qualification.
• Proven experience in user requirements capture for complex system-of-systems architectures
• Proven experience in business analysis and business architecture development.
• Recent experience on large and complex change programmes/projects
• 5-10 years’ experience in roles relevant to this requirement
• Proven ability to work in a multinational and multicultural environment

• The working languages of the Agency are English and French. For this particular post, a thorough knowledge of English (oral/written) is required. Spanish would be useful.
Desirable:
• Professional certification in architecture frameworks such as TOGAF and ArchiMate
• Professional certification in business analysis and/or requirements management
• Experience of JIRA or equivalent tools for requirements management
• TOGAF and/or ArchiMate
• experience/certification or equivalent of the ATM domain
Key Responsibilities:
• Work closely with the Business Manager and the iNM team to develop and document Service Requirements and the Business Architecture for the Integrated Network Management Programme.
• Produce the Service Requirements Document(s) and Business Architecture Landscape, describing the current organization, functions, processes, and requirements for IT capabilities to support this business architecture.
• Gather information from current operational experts and existing legacy documentation in ATOS.
• Work closely with the NM Technology Division Architecture Unit with regard to process and tooling.
• Work independently as much as feasible.
• Ensure achievement of shared goals.
• Takes decisions based on balanced arguments.
• Implement effective people management practices.
