This role presents an exciting opportunity for an experienced accessibility practitioner to make a significant impact on ensuring digital experiences meet the needs of diverse customers and coworkers.
Role Description
As a Senior Accessibility UX/UI Designer, you will play a crucial role in supporting product teams on accessibility issues, conducting audits, and providing recommendations to enhance digital accessibility compliance. The ideal candidate for this Senior Accessibility UX/UI Designer position will have a background in UX design and/or engineering, with a strong focus on digital accessibility concepts and tools.
Must Have Skills
- Extensive experience in technical accessibility concepts and tools
- Proficiency in conducting digital accessibility audits
- Strong knowledge of WCAG standards and compliance
- Experience in incorporating accessibility into digital product development practices
- Excellent communication skills for coaching and training facilitation
Nice to Have Skills
- Certification in digital accessibility
- Personal experience using assistive technologies
- Background in UX design or engineering
- Experience working with Jira for issue tracking
