We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Retail Account Manager to join our client’s UK Hardware Channels team. Reporting to the EMEA Retail Sales Lead, this exciting role offers the chance to drive brand awareness and sales growth in the UK retail sector by managing key relationships with retailers, working closely with supply chain, and supporting new product launches.

About the Role
As a Retail Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing relationships with top UK retailers, ensuring seamless stock management, and executing impactful sales and marketing initiatives. You’ll work closely with supply chain and distribution teams to maintain optimal stock levels, develop business strategies, and maximise in-store and online presence. With a new product launching next year, your go-to-market experience will be invaluable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day account relationships with leading retailers.
- Review weekly sales reports and forecast attainment, addressing any discrepancies and making informed decisions using data insights.
- Collaborate with supply and demand teams to ensure stock levels are aligned with sales forecasts.
- Lead project management initiatives for major retail events like Black Friday, ensuring successful promotions and retail execution.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (Legal, Marketing, Hardware Operations) on retail marketing, store reports, and new product launches.
- Develop and implement strategic marketing investment plans, both online and in-store, to maximise ROI.
- Identify opportunities for business development with new and existing partners (e.g., expanding in-store displays across retailers).
- Negotiate with key stakeholders to drive business goals and resolve challenges with resilience and tenacity.
What We’re Looking For:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in B2B sales, account management, or retail marketing, ideally working with large-format retailers.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data, evaluate marketing campaigns, and assess business opportunities.
- Proven experience in successfully launching products in retail environments.
- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills – you’ll need resilience when working with challenging buyers.
- Experience managing marketing budgets and driving positive ROI through targeted campaigns.
- The ability to travel as required (up to 20%).
