Our client, a leading multinational technology conglomerate, is seeking an experienced and outgoing individual to join their Data Center Policy team as a Public Policy Manager. This fixed-term position offers an exciting opportunity to support strategic engagement on policy issues that impact data center operations in Europe. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in monitoring, researching, and developing strategies for current and relevant public policy issues.

This is a 9 month fixed term contract with a starting pro rata salary of £120k.
This is a hybrid role which requires onsite present at the client’s offices in central London 3 days per week.
As a Public Policy Manager, you will be responsible for developing and managing campaign strategies for both individual stakeholders and multi-stakeholder coalitions. This includes creating communications plans, third-party outreach efforts, timelines, and measurement/evaluation processes.
The role requires direct experience in developing and successfully implementing government affairs and outreach strategies, particularly those related to energy and sustainability policies. The Public Policy Manager will work closely with policy, community development, and energy teams to drive initiatives that support the company’s goal of maintaining net-zero emissions for operations and achieving net-zero emissions across the supply chain by 2030.
Must Have Skills
- 5+ years of experience working in Public Policy – 3+ years of experience with EU Commission Policy or Energy Policy / Data Center energy
- Experience in internet technologies, security, privacy, integrity, safety, content moderation, and related policy environment.
- Policy stakeholder engagement experience
