As a Project Economist, you will play a crucial role in supporting complex infrastructure projects with budgets exceeding 10 billion SEK. Employment Type: Initial contract length of 24 months.
Workplace: Hybrid
Languages: Fluent English and Swedish.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and investigate economic matters within projects.
- Ensure financial consistency and maintain high-quality standards.
- Quality-assure financial reporting.
- Monitor and analyze deviations from forecasts and annual plans.
- Support in forecasting and quality-assure forecasts.
- Present economic matters in meetings when necessary.
- Identify educational needs for project economists.
- Train in and manage calculation tools.
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:
- Hold a university degree in economics.
- Have a minimum of 5 years of professional experience as an economist.
- Possess at least 3 years of project economist experience in infrastructure or construction.
- Demonstrate proficiency in both Swedish and English.
The following qualifications are preferred but not mandatory:
- Experience with financial systems such as Unit 4 Business World (UBW) or similar.
- Experience in quantity contract work within the construction industry.
- Familiarity with collaboration agreements.
