Product Owner
Our client is a multinational leader in the development of software products, remaining as one of the world’s top software and service providers with clients based in 42 countries globally. With Irish offices based in Dublin 15, this company continue to grow and expand their dynamic team.

They require a Product Owner with 2+ years of Agile business analysis experience ideally working for a Software Product R&D firm in our client’s head office in Dublin. This is an exciting permanent opportunity.

Our client is currently conducting all interviews online and are onboarding all new workers remotely.

What will a Product Owner do?

  • Customer business needs analysis.
  • Drawing up future products requirements (communication with stakeholders – developers, customers, end-users).
  • Requirement’s analysis (different methodologies and notations usage – prototyping, surveys, brainstorming, existing documentation analysis and competitors).
  • Problem domain analysis and improvement suggestions.
  • Requirement formalization (separation on business, functional and non-functional requirements).
  • Requirements management (processing of change requests, analysis, and description of the impact on existing requirements).
  • Requirements transmission between the developers and the client.

What does the Ideal Candidate look like?

  • Degree / MA in IT / Computer Science or relevant equivalent qualification.
  • 2+ years of Agile business analysis experience ideally working for a Software Product R&D firm; (a plus if you have CSPO agile certification short for 'Certified Scrum Product Owner')
  • Evidence of previous management in innovation in the software space.
  • Excellent business and technical analytical skills are essential
  • 2+ years of experience as a Product Owner in SCRUM with a focus on commercial software delivery.
  • Experience with Software Product development and an extra bonus would be someone who has experience in building New SaaS products from the ground up.
