We are in search of a Press Officer with a minimum of 5 years of experience, particularly with some experience gained within politically governed organizations. This role offers a 6-month contract initially, with the potential for extension.
As a key member of our press team, you’ll be the bridge between intricate topics and our audience, making information accessible and engaging. Your flexibility, approachability, and knack for both short-term and long-term planning will be invaluable.

Overall Responsibilities:
- Developing messages and materials for handling media inquiries.
- Supporting a large organization in media-related matters.
- Planning, executing, and evaluating various proactive PR and communication initiatives targeted at the media.
What does the Ideal Candidate look like?
- At least five years’ experience of working as a press communicator.
- At least three years’ experience of working with media management, both proactive and reactive.
- Experience from at least 1 previous assignment in a politically controlled organization.
- Relevant education in communication or journalism
Preferred skills:
- Worked at least three years as a press communicator at a government agency or other socially responsible organization.
- Worked at least three years in a politically controlled organization.
