Based in the heart of Dublin’s Silicon Docks, our client has been at the forefront in changing the internet and online technologies as we know it.

They’re looking for a Payroll Operations Manager with experience in Polish and/or Swiss payroll taxation, to join their team.

As a member of our client’s finance operations, you will design and manage financial processes, controls, and reporting to enable the ongoing operation of the company, while maintaining compliance with relevant laws, regulations, company policies, and procedures.

Key Functions

  • Set direction for a specific process or program and contribute to the strategies for the team.
  • Identify and connect personal OKRs to broader team goals for manager review and alignment. Make autonomous decisions impacting own areas(s), seeking direction/approval from leadership when decision impacts other processes or teams.
  • Define problems and craft non-traditional or innovative solutions for the domain and propose mitigation strategies for similar problems that may exist in the future. Identify opportunities to improve current processes to increase efficiency and produce higher value for users.
  • Manage and execute non-routine initiatives addressing immediate business needs, and balance these with goals of the area and team (e.g., analysis and operationalization of business, legal, or regulatory-related changes in their area).
  • Build relationships with other process owners. Interact regularly across teams to align on shared objectives and direction. Maintain effective cross-functional communications and partnerships.

Must Have Skills

  • 4+ years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated background in Finance, Operations Management, Project Management.
  • Experience with payroll, particularly familiarity with Polish and/or Swiss payroll taxation requirements.
  • Proven experience in identifying inefficiencies and implementing improvements to increase efficiency and value.
